New Luxury Holiday Cottages in Devon and Cornwall added
Well, it’s been a while but I’ve eventually managed to find some time to add a few more cottages to the website. This time I’ve focused on the South of England with two luxury holiday cottages in Devon and two luxury holiday cottages in Cornwall. Apart from being well designed, full of character and luxurious, they are above all romantic!

New Romantic holiday cottages in The Cotswolds on Romantic Retreats
Known as one of the most romantic areas in England, The Cotswolds have it all – gorgeous villages, rolling countryside and soft yellow stone cottages. So we thought it was high time to add some romantic holiday cottages in The Cotswolds to our website, Romantic Retreats.
We have selected Joiner’s Cottage in one of the prettiest villages in England, Upper Slaughter. It combines old Cotswold character with an airy, uncluttered interiour without losing any of its charm, making it a real Cotswolds romantic cottage.
The second new romantic cottage is West Cottage overlooking the beautiful unspoilt countryside of Sheepscombe. It has everything you would want from a romantic Cotswolds holiday cottage including woodburner and a pub within walking distance!
Romantic Hotels on Romantic Retreats
Romantic Retreats have now started to list some of the best romantic hotels in the UK alongside the selection of romantic holiday cottages. It is becoming harder and harder to find unique romantic hotels that don’t have that corporate of ‘out of the box’ feel to them so we decided to make a selection for our visitors.
So far we have two beautiful romantic hotels on our website: Linthwaite House Hotel, a Lake District romantic hotel and the Rose and Crown at Romaldkirk, a County Durham Romantic Hotel.
We’ll continue to keep adding some of the best romantic hotels, romantic guesthouses and romantic bed and breakfasts to our website so keep visiting us for more.

Headswood Cottage is located near the shores of Lake Windermere and is a very comfortable retreat for those wanting to escape daily life.
The Bothy at Cowmire Hall
The Bothy is an extremely romantic hideaway for those wanting to escape the stresses of everyday life. The Bothy started life as part of the barns at Cowmire Hall, a romantic country house in the unspoilt Lyth Valley based around a 14th century peel tower.
